Your first trading routine starts here.
One week. One demo account. A written plan before every decision. Use this practice guide and journal to build a process you can review.
CSV opens in Excel, Google Sheets and Numbers. Practice on demo; these exercises do not require risking money.
A practical first week.
Learn the language
Open the free beginner academy. Explain a pair, pip, spread and position size in your own words.
Choose one pair and session
Observe one major currency pair during a fixed session. Record the spread and scheduled events; avoid making a trade just to fill the journal.
Write down a setup
Mark a chart level, a condition that would support your idea, and a condition that would invalidate it. No trade is a valid conclusion.
Practice risk sizing
Use the pip calculator to understand pip value. Write the hypothetical stop distance, size and maximum loss before entering on demo.
Log a demo decision
Record your entry, planned stop, target and reasoning. Write down a skipped trade if your conditions were not met.
Review your behaviour
Did you follow your own conditions? Did you move a stop or enter from fear of missing out? Keep process mistakes separate from trade outcomes.
Write next week's rule
Choose one specific habit to practice. Continue on demo and build a larger record before drawing conclusions about a strategy.
