Market Insights

Live charts, structured context.

Use the live chart below to monitor structure, trend, and volatility. We pair it with a disciplined framework so you’re not trading headlines or noise.

Structure first

Mark higher-timeframe highs/lows, then zoom in to confirm breaks or reclaims before acting.

Volatility awareness

ATR expansion signals opportunity and risk. Size down when ranges are unusually wide.

Risk constraints

Define invalidation before entry. If the stop doesn’t make sense, the trade doesn’t exist.

Forex Insights framework

Every chart read follows the same flow: identify regime, mark liquidity, confirm catalyst, then choose an execution window. This keeps your decisions consistent even when headlines change.

Regime scan

  • Confirm trend or range on H4 and H1.
  • Mark the last swing high/low and trendline.
  • Do not trade against the dominant regime.

Liquidity map

  • Tag equal highs/lows and round numbers.
  • Track prior day high/low and session opens.
  • Expect reactions after liquidity sweeps.

Execution rules

  • Use M15 for structure breaks and retests.
  • Define stop and target before entry.
  • Skip trades when ATR is extreme.

Session playbook

  • Asia: range building and liquidity formation.
  • London: highest liquidity and cleanest breaks.
  • New York: continuation or reversal after data.

Align your entries with the session most active for the pair you trade.

Focus pairs and why

  • EURUSD: clean structure and tight spreads.
  • GBPJPY: strong momentum but higher volatility.
  • XAUUSD: reacts to rates and risk sentiment.
  • USDJPY: policy sensitivity and strong trends.

Rotate focus if spreads widen or regime shifts from trend to range.

How to use this chart

  • • Start with H1 or H4 to define trend and key levels.
  • • Drop to M15 for structure shifts or clean retests.
  • • Check the economic calendar before acting on spikes.
  • • Document the trade idea in your journal before entry.

Educational only. For signal rules, see How Our Signals Work.

A simple chart workflow

  1. Start on H4 to decide whether the market is trending, ranging, or unstable.
  2. Mark the last clean impulse and the level that would invalidate that read.
  3. Drop to H1 or M15 only after the higher-timeframe map is already clear.
  4. Check whether upcoming event risk could distort the setup before entry.

What not to do

  • • Do not treat a single candle spike as confirmation without structure.
  • • Do not force entries in the middle of a range just because the chart is moving.
  • • Do not ignore session timing. The same pattern behaves differently in Asia vs London.
  • • Do not size up because the move looks obvious after it already happened.

Guides and education

When you notice a setup you do not fully understand, move to the guides and education pages and review the rule set behind it.

Signals workflow

Signals should confirm your map, not replace it. A good trade idea survives both chart review and risk sizing.
